Step by step
Your first visit
- Request a time or walk in
Book online, call, or walk in during open hours. We’ll confirm your visit and check your insurance in advance.
- Arrive 10–15 minutes early
Fill in a short health history at the front desk. Ask for help in Spanish or Vietnamese if you’d like.
- Digital x-rays and photos
Low-radiation digital x-rays and intraoral photos give us — and you — a full picture.
- Your exam
Your dentist checks each tooth, your gums, your bite, and screens for oral cancer, explaining as they go.
- Your plan and estimate
We walk through what we found, what’s urgent and what can wait, with a written estimate for each option.
- Cleaning
If your gums are healthy, we’ll usually clean your teeth the same day. If you need a deeper cleaning, we’ll explain why.

What to bring
Forgot something? Come anyway — we’ll sort it out together.
- A photo ID
- Your dental insurance card (or Medicaid/CHIP card for kids)
- A list of your medications and allergies
- Recent dental x-rays, if you have them (we can request them for you)
- A parent or guardian for patients under 18
- Your questions — write them down so nothing gets forgotten
Insurance & payment
Care you can plan for, with or without insurance
You’ll get a written estimate before any treatment. If something isn’t covered, we’ll show you the options — not pressure you.
PPO dental insurance
We accept most PPO plans and check your benefits before treatment, so you know your share up front.
Medicaid & CHIP for kids
Children and teens 18 and under with Texas Medicaid or CHIP dental coverage are welcome.
Monthly payments
Spread larger treatment over time with approved financing.
No insurance? Join Kudo Care
Our membership covers preventive visits — including dental cleanings — for a one-time $50 activation and a low monthly fee.

How long is the first visit?
Plan on about an hour, a little longer if we clean your teeth the same day or if you have several concerns to talk through.
Can I come in without an appointment?
Yes — new patients can walk in during open hours. Calling ahead helps us have a chair ready and check your insurance before you arrive.
Will I get a cleaning at my first visit?
Usually, if your gums are healthy. If we find signs of gum disease, a regular cleaning isn’t the right treatment; we’ll explain deep cleaning (scaling and root planing) and schedule it.
Do you see the whole family on the same day?
We do our best to book family members back to back, including kids. Let us know how many people are coming when you book.
What if I haven’t been to a dentist in years?
You’re not alone, and you won’t get a lecture. We’ll start with what’s bothering you, take things at your pace, and prioritize anything urgent.
