Built around busy Coppell family calendars
Coppell is a close-knit city of about 43,000 people (2020 census) where a lot of family life revolves around school, sports and activities. Between practices at Andy Brown Park and weekend tournaments, finding a weekday hour for the dentist can feel impossible.
We're open seven days, including Saturdays 9 to 6 and Sundays 9 to 1. With family dentistry, we can usually line up the kids and a parent back-to-back, so everyone's cleaning and exam happens in one trip.
For younger kids, children's dentistry at Kudo is calm and unhurried. We show kids each tool before we use it, explain things in kid-friendly words and go at their pace. Sealants and fluoride help protect new molars from cavities.
Cosmetic dentistry, explained honestly
A lot of adults want to “do something about their smile” but don't know where to start. A cosmetic consult is a conversation, not a sales pitch. We look at your teeth with an intraoral camera, talk about what bothers you, and lay out the options with honest pros and cons.
Professional teeth whitening lightens natural enamel. It won't change the color of crowns or fillings, and some people get temporary sensitivity, so we plan around that. Porcelain veneers are thin shells bonded to the front of the teeth. They can change shape, size and color, but they usually require removing a thin layer of enamel, so it's a permanent decision.
Dr. Carl Walker Prince focuses on aesthetic dentistry, and Dr. Chloe Kim focuses on cosmetic procedures, so you'll be in experienced hands. Not sure which route fits? Read veneers vs. whitening.
Good to know: We don't offer braces or clear aligners yet. Orthodontics is coming soon, so ask for an update at your next visit.
Dental, medical and vision under one roof
Kudo Care Center is a family health center. Primary care, with Dr. AJ Nguyen, Dr. Ryan Kim and our nurse practitioners, and optometry, with Dr. Alexandra Ly, are in the same building as the dental office. Back-to-school season is a good time to pair a dental checkup with an eye exam, all in one trip.
Being down the hall also helps when health and teeth overlap. Diabetes, pregnancy and many medications affect the gums and mouth, and our dental and medical teams can coordinate when you want them to.
We accept most PPO plans and Texas Medicaid and CHIP dental for children 18 and under. Financing and our Concierge Membership are on the insurance and financing page.
Patients often visit us from these ZIP codes: 75019.

Coming from Coppell? Good questions.
Still have a question? Call (469) 706-0710 — a real person answers, in English, Spanish or Vietnamese.
How long does it take to get from Coppell to your office?
Usually 15–25 minutes. Take Denton Tap Road south to Belt Line Road and follow Belt Line south about 7 miles to Grande Bulevar, at the north edge of Irving Mall. It's about 9 miles, with no toll roads, and parking is free.
Can we schedule the whole family at once?
Usually, yes. Tell us who's coming when you book, and we'll try to line up back-to-back visits. Weekend slots fill first, so booking a few weeks ahead helps. Our primary care and eye doctors are in the same building if anyone also needs a physical or an eye exam.
Is professional teeth whitening safe for enamel?
When it's done under a dentist's guidance, whitening is considered safe for healthy enamel. Some people notice temporary sensitivity, which usually fades within a few days. We check for cavities, gum problems and old fillings first, since whitening won't change the color of crowns or fillings.
Do you offer braces or clear aligners?
Not yet. Orthodontics is coming soon at Kudo Care Dental, and we'll share updates as it gets closer. In the meantime, we can keep up with your family's cleanings, fillings, whitening and other care, and we check your kids' bite at every exam so you'll know when it's worth thinking about.
Are you open on Sundays?
Yes, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. We're also open Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and until 7 p.m. on Wednesdays. Walk-ins are welcome during open hours. For a family block of back-to-back visits on a weekend, booking a few weeks ahead is a good idea.
