In pain right now?
Call (469) 706-0710 or walk in during open hours — we keep room for same-day emergencies, Sundays included. If swelling is spreading toward your eye or neck, or you have trouble breathing or swallowing, call 911 or go to the nearest ER.
How walk-in visits work at Kudo Care Dental
If you need a walk-in dentist in Irving, you can come in any time we’re open. There’s no special line to join and nothing to reserve online. Come to the front desk, tell us what’s going on, and we’ll fit you into the schedule as soon as a dentist and a chair are free.
Here’s the honest part: we also see scheduled patients, so how long you wait depends on the day. Weekday mornings are often the easiest, while weekends can be busy because so many people work during the week. If you call (469) 706-0710 before you head over, we’ll tell you how the day looks and save you a chair if one is opening up.
If you’re in pain, tell the front desk right away so the team knows. And if you came in for something routine and the wait is longer than you can stay, we can book you a set time later that day or on another day that suits you better.
When to come in right away
- You have tooth pain and can’t wait for an opening
- Your schedule only allows evenings or weekends
- You need a dentist on a Sunday
- You’re new to Irving and don’t have a dentist yet
- You want a second opinion on a treatment plan
- It’s been years since your last checkup
Walk-in dentist hours, including Saturday and Sunday
We’re open seven days a week. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, we’re here from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. On Wednesday we shift later, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., which helps if you work a standard day shift. Saturday is a full day, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on Sunday we’re open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
If you’ve been searching for a Sunday dentist in Irving, know that Sunday hours are short and popular with people who can’t get away during the week, so arrive early if you can. If you’re aiming for the last hour of any day, call first and we’ll tell you honestly whether there’s still time to see you.

Who walk-in and weekend visits are for
A weekend dentist in Irving isn’t a luxury for a lot of people here. It’s the only realistic way to get care.
- Shift workers in hospitals, warehouses, restaurants and retail whose days off rarely line up with a typical dental office.
- Airport and airline workers with rotating schedules that make booking weeks ahead hard. We’re just east of DFW Airport along SH-183, often 15–20 minutes away depending on traffic.
- Parents who’d rather not pull kids out of school. Bring everyone on a Saturday and we’ll try to see the family back to back through our family dentistry scheduling.
- Anyone with a 9-to-5, including the Las Colinas office crowd, who keeps putting off a checkup because it means burning PTO.
- People new to Irving who don’t have a dentist yet and need one now.
What we can take care of on a walk-in visit
Most walk-in visits fall into a few groups:
- Pain and urgent problems: toothaches, swelling, a broken tooth, a lost crown or filling. Our emergency dentist page explains what to do before you arrive.
- Exams and x-rays: a new-patient checkup, a second opinion on a treatment plan, or a look at something that’s been bothering you.
- Cleanings: when a hygienist has an opening. If not, we’ll book your cleaning and exam at the next convenient time, weekends included.
- Quick fixes: recementing a crown, smoothing a chipped edge or easing a denture sore spot.
Longer treatments, like a root canal, an implant or several fillings, usually get their own scheduled appointment so nobody is rushing. When you’re hurting, we’ll often start with relief the day you walk in.
What to bring, and how to make it quicker
- A photo ID and your dental insurance card, or your child’s Texas Medicaid or CHIP card
- A list of your medications (a photo of the bottles works)
- Any broken piece of tooth or a lost crown, in a small bag or container
- Recent x-rays from another office, if you have them
New to us? See what to expect at your first visit. We have free on-site parking, the office is wheelchair accessible and near public transit, and we’re across the street from Irving Mall. Our team speaks English, Spanish and Vietnamese, and Dr. Chloe Kim speaks Korean.
What to expect, step by step
- Call ahead if you can
A quick call lets us check the schedule and hold a chair. It’s optional, since walking in is always fine during open hours.
- Check in at the front desk
Tell us why you came in, show your ID and insurance card, and fill out a short health history.
- See the dentist
We examine the problem area or your whole mouth, take digital x-rays as needed and explain what we find.
- Decide together
You get your options and a written estimate. Simple care can often be done that day; longer treatment is booked at a time that suits you.
Cost, insurance & financing
We go over the cost of your visit before any treatment begins, whether you walked in or booked weeks ago. We accept most PPO plans, and Texas Medicaid and CHIP dental for children 18 and under.
If you don’t have insurance, the Kudo Care Concierge Membership covers preventive visits, including dental cleanings, for a one-time $50 activation and a low monthly fee, with discounts on other care. Financing is available through Cherry, Affirm and CareCredit, subject to approval. Read our guide to dental care without insurance.

Walk-In Dentist: your questions, answered
Still have a question? Call (469) 706-0710 — a real person answers, in English, Spanish or Vietnamese.
Can I see a dentist without an appointment in Irving?
Yes. Kudo Care Dental welcomes walk-ins during all open hours, seven days a week. The wait depends on how many scheduled patients we have that day, so calling (469) 706-0710 ahead helps us plan. If the wait is longer than you can stay, we can book you a same-day time and you can come back.
Is there a Sunday dentist in Irving?
Yes. Kudo Care Dental is open Sundays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for walk-ins and scheduled visits, from toothaches and broken teeth to exams. Because Sunday hours are short and in demand, coming early or calling ahead is the best way to make sure we can see you before we close.
Are you open Saturdays and evenings?
Yes. We’re open Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., a full day for checkups, cleanings and fillings as well as urgent visits. On Wednesdays we stay open until 7 p.m., which helps if you work a standard day shift. Our other weekdays run from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
How long is the wait for a walk-in dentist?
It varies. On a quieter weekday morning, you may be seen fairly quickly; on a busy Saturday, it can take longer. We won’t promise a wait time we can’t keep, so the most reliable approach is to call before you come. We’ll tell you how the day looks and save you a chair if one is opening up.
Do I need insurance to walk in?
No. You’re welcome with or without insurance. We accept most PPO plans and Texas Medicaid and CHIP for kids 18 and under, and we offer a membership plan and financing for people paying on their own. We’ll go over costs before any treatment begins, so you can decide what to do that day.
Can I walk in for a teeth cleaning?
Sometimes. If a hygienist has an opening when you arrive, we can often do your exam and cleaning the same day. If not, we’ll do the exam and x-rays if you’d like and book your cleaning at a time that works, including weekends. If your gums need a deeper cleaning, that’s usually its own visit; see gum disease treatment.
